Full-Time Registered Nurse - Hematology Oncology

Description
This is a very busy clinic. RNs will perform the following:

• Infusions, patient triaging, In-basket, patient assessments, etc.
• Lots of multi-tasking is required. Very time driven as this is a busy, fast-paced clinic.
• IV's skills and medication management experience are preferred.
• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate would be familiar with Oncology/Hematology patients, Chemo medications, ambulatory/clinic environment experience or inpatient / ER experience.
• Customer service and EPIC experience preferred.
• Vascular access and peripheral IV skills, chemo certification, oncology experience preferred.
• BNS Required or if ADN, you must be willing to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years of start date, obtain your BSN within 5 years of start date.
• MI RN License
