Advocacy Coffee Hours

It’s a great time to meet with your state representative during their local office hours and introduce yourself over some coffee! 

Why are these meetings so important? MSHO is the trusted voice for oncology and hematology, and an important part of our mission is to advocate on behalf of Michigan cancer patients to remove barriers to care. Every chance you have to sit down with a legislator and talk specifically about issues that affect your patients is a chance to put a “face” on those issues. Legislators want to hear from YOU, our members, because you are on the front lines watching how these issues play out day after day in your communities, and how they affect the patients and families you care for.
